All of our Bolognese are our family members in the house and are truly loved. They don’t have a cage but they have a dog couch, wicker chair and comfortable beds. We hand raise puppies in our family room, and begin socializing them to our adult dog kids, neighbors, and friends and a household environment starting while they are young. Also we train the dogs to be house broken.
Bolognese require lots of love, attention, a good diet and excellent care. If you believe you are ready to make a commitment of owning a Bolognese puppy from Elfin Bolognese, please contact me, Ikuko, at elfinbolognese@gmail.com.
As a family breeder, our females have only one litter a year or skip every other year, so our puppies are occasionally available. We can provide you with proof of CERF (veterinary ophthalmology to test for predisposition to cataracts and any other serious eye defects) and OFA (patella luxation) certification with veterinary documentation that include all details of vaccinations, de-worming to-date & microchip. We hope we will find the right home for the right personality of my puppy to responsible forever home. I may ask you to fill in a questionnaire or ask for a reference.
I do not ship puppies because of the dangers of having them fly in the cargo area of planes. Additionally, I want to avoid any negative memories for puppies in their very early age. Please be prepared to drive or fly to Portland, Oregon to pick up your new puppy. We may be able to offer air and land travel arrangements to meet you, to help ensure the safe arrival of your new family member of your Elfin Bolognese puppy.
