We are extremely careful in choosing our Bolognese with great responsibility, and show them in conformation to prove our dogs’ quality as breeding stock. Our dogs are imported from Europe, and have the best qualities for breeding and have titles in the US. Their parents are from multi-champion European stock and are registered with The World Canine Association. Our dogs are also registered with FCI (Federation Cynologique Internationale) and AKC FSS (American Kennel Club Foundation Stock Service).

My huge thanks must first go to Gloria Davis, Jessica Van Driel, Galina Burkina, Alberto Veronesi, and Chris Thatcher of Devonia Bolognese. These famous breeders have helped me in various capacities to import their loving dogs to our Elfin Bolognese Kennel.
We waited a long time for our first beautiful female Bolognese, Miyabi, who came from Gentle Wind Bolognese Kennel. Miyabi’s mother was imported from Slovakia and her father was many times BOB in European shows. In addition, she is the result of a frozen semen importation from Hungary. Miyabi and her breeder Gloria Davis gave us a chance to become a Bolognese breeder. Gloria has given me a lot of advice, her vast knowledge and warm help has given us courage to find our fantastic foundation stock dogs over an extended period of time.
Nova came from Little White Wonder Kennel, from Amsterdam, Holland. Her breeder, Jessica Van Driel said Nova has rare bloodlines and she is not related to most of the Bolo bloodlines. We think she will produce a not only beautiful dogs, but healthy puppies.
Olivia, she came from The kennel VIGNOLA dei CONTI , from Bologna, Italy. Bologna where the Bolognese originated from. Alberto Veronesi selected for me his outstanding little Olivia, who is the second Bolognese dog to come from his kennel to the United States. The key to this success is Chris Thatcher. She gave me a huge help and a lot of professional advice to allow me to import Alberto’s dog, Olivia. She seemed small compared to the other Bolognese, but many American judges don’t mind her size, they love her. Olivia loves to present at dog shows, and the judges love her gait.
Oliver came from Kennel Snezhnyi Dozor, from Russia. He has a perfect square body, super wavy dense coat, and is an extremely outstanding gentle boy. Moreover, he has beautiful teeth that he could be a teeth model if he wished. His breeder, Galina Burkina, said that if I want to show him in Europe that she will help us, so I am planning to visit Europe again.
Our dogs bring in different blood lines and we hope to add to the Bolognese gene pool in the US.
